PETER VOGEL - KELLERORCHESTER, 1989

„For the installation in the basement of the gallery Giannozzo I didn’t have any guideline so I could experiment and realize my childhood dream of a “jazz machine”. After obtaining my Abitur I had a vision of a machine made of several different instruments, a kind of “orchestrion” that can be played by one or more people. The drawing I did resembled the one of Mauricio Kagel´s “one-man orchestra”.
